Brandon Myers, Deputy Inspector General and Chief of Regional Transit Board Division

Brandon Myers joined the OEIG in January 2012 and previously served as Deputy Chief of the Regional Transportation Board Division. Prior to joining the OEIG, Dr. Myers served as a Security Supervisor at the US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan and as Chief of Police for the Braidwood Police Department. Dr. Myers holds degrees and certificates from the Northwestern University, Penn State, Norwich University, and Olivet Nazarene University. As Deputy Inspector General and Chief of the Regional Transit Board Investigative Division, Dr. Myers is responsible for directing investigations related to the Regional Transportation Authority, the Chicago Transit Authority, Metra, and Pace

Other Regional Transit Board Division Staff

In addition to Mr. Myers, the Regional Transit Board Division team includes an assistant inspector general and investigators who have over 40 combined years of investigative experience from law enforcement and other government agencies.  Members of the Regional Transit Board Investigative Division have received training in areas such as interview techniques, surveillance of subjects, and public corruption investigations.
