When does my certificate of registration expire?

If you are a retailer, your certificate expires in 1 year. It is renewed automatically as long as you are complying with all filing and payment requirements. If you are a reseller (i.e., wholesale distributor), your certificate of registration expires every 3 years. If you are a cigarette or tobacco distributor your license expires every year. If you are an electric self-assessor your license expires every two years. You must complete a renewal application at least 30 days before your certificate expires. If you discontinue your business, your certificate is invalid as of that date.

If you have additional inquiries, you may submit them to the Questions, Comments, or Request form.
