How often does the Department process information from MyTax Illinois?

The Department transfers most requests only once a day. However, maintain locations requests and changes that the master user initiates for logon purposes (e.g. adding new logons or adjusting settings and passwords for existing logons) occur immediately – usually within a minute or two. Requests that are retrieved only once a day will have a status of “Pending” at the time they are made (e.g. payments or a tax return). Requests will have a status of “Completed” once they are retrieved. It still takes up to five business days for balances to be updated in MyTax Illinois after payment requests are completed.
