Why did I not receive an email after activating my MyTax Illinois account?

If you completed the activation summary and successfully submitted the information, you should have first received a confirmation screen and then an email, containing your authentication code, a few minutes later. If you received the confirmation screen but have not received the email, please verify that the email is not in your “spam” or “junk” folders. The sender of the email will be listed as “MyTax Illinois [REV.DoNotReply@illinois.gov].” This email address can be saved to allow future emails to effectively reach your inbox.

After you have verified that the email has not been received, email us using the Questions, Comments, or Request link below or call us at 217 785-3707 for activation.

Note: To be sure that you receive future emails from IDOR, you can add our email address, REV.DoNotReply@Illinois.gov, to your Contacts/Safe Senders list in your email account so that they are not recognized as spam and deleted.
