Frederick Marshal Rodriguez, Ph.D is a retired educator. He was appointed to the Lt. Governor’s Advisory Council on Voluntary Action, the Illinois component of the Federal AmeriCorps Program in 1994. The Council has since become the Illinois Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service. As part of his duties he has served as Vice Chair, Chair, Commissioner and mentor for various federally funded programs. He continues his involvement with the Field Museum of Chicago as a volunteer docent with emphasis on the Hall of the Americas. He is very active with the Western Springs Veterans of Foreign of Foreign Wars Memorial Post 10778 and served as Commander 2004-2006.
