In-and-Out Market Shopper Guidelines for 2020:
The continuation of the Vernon Hills Park District Farmers Market relies on our vendors and shoppers to follow a critical new set of health and safety guidelines due to COVID-19.
This season we will be operating under the In-and-Out Market Guidelines recommended by the Illinois Farmers Market Association. These guidelines are being put in place to create a safe shopping experience for our customers and vendors.
• All customers are required to use a face mask.
• Maintain a 6’ distance between yourself, vendor employees, and other customers.
• No dogs are allowed this year.
• If you are not feeling well, stay home.
• Limit attendance to one family member, if possible.
• Use credit card or debit card for purchases when possible. If cash is used, please try to use exact change.
• Do not pick up products or produce at vendor stands. Ask vendors to help you. • Your purchase will be placed in a single-use plastic bag for you to pick up.
• Be ready to order when it is your turn.
• Wash all products before eating or using.
