The goals of Envision Unlimited’s Competitive Pay Project are to (1) eliminate our 14(c) pillow factory by the
end of 2020, and (2) to place 124 clients with developmental disabilities into competitive integrated jobs. In
order to achieve these goals, we are proposing three specific interventions: (1) obtaining technical assistance for staff on employment, (2) ensuring tht clients have and are in possession of employment eligibility documents such as social security cards and government identifications, and (3) delivering job development services to clients. This combination of activities will improve collaboration between service departments and establish more effective employment practices within our agency while also delivering high quality services to our clients that help them meet their goals.
