Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton
Juliana Stratton is your Lieutenant Governor and she’s going to fight for communities across Illinois.
Lieutenant Governor Juliana is a lifelong Illinoisan. She was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. Her dad is a doctor and her mom was a schoolteacher. She’s a proud graduate of Kenwood Academy High School, the University of Illinois, and DePaul University College of Law. As a state representative, she spent every day fighting for her constituents and as Lieutenant Governor you will be able to count on her to stand up for you.
She’s passionate about reforming the criminal justice system and has focused much her career on this work. As the Director of the Center for Public Safety and Justice at the University of Illinois at Chicago, she trained law enforcement on building trust in the communities they serve.
She’s also a professional mediator, which means that she knows how to bring people together and get things done. She has brought people together to create fair workplaces for everyone and to help our businesses be better neighbors. This isn’t just something she talks about, it’s her life’s work.
Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton has spent her life trying to fight for what’s right and she is looking forward to continuing this work with Governor JB Pritzker
