The Office of the State Fire Marshal is pleased to announce training to satisfy the requirements of Illinois Administrative Rules, Part 235.60; Compliance Standards for Indoor Special Effects Fireworks and Flame Effect Displays. Doors open at 8:00 AM and will conclude with a product demonstration at 3:30 PM.
This training is presented by the American Pyrotechnic Association in cooperation with the Rosemont Theater, Melrose Pyrotechnics, Central States Pyrotechnics and Gateway Fireworks Displays.
This training will be provided at no cost to the AHJ and Code Enforcement community, however, registration is required. Registration form is here and at the link below.
Alternatively, Five Alarm Fireworks Displays will be presenting a two day Flame Effects and Proximate Audience training program On April 26 and 27 at the Odeum Expo Center 1033 N. Villa Av. In Villa Park, IL.
This technical training is designed for individuals working in the pyrotechnic, special effects and entertainment industry and is fee based. This training is also open to the AHJ community (for a fee) and may be used to meet the training requirement for issuing indoor pyrotechnic and flame effects permits in accordance with the Part 235.60 rules.
