Building a Better Illinois

  • Register with the Illinois Procurement Gateway

As part of CDB's continuing efforts to implement eBuilder project management software and reduce our carbon footprint, this is a reminder to vendors to register with the Illinois Procurement Gateway (IPG) to allow adequate application processing time.

  • Rebuild Illinois

Governor JB Pritzker signed the State’s first long-term capital package, the “Rebuild Illinois Capital Plan,” into law, marking the first time since 2009 that the State has had a comprehensive capital plan in place. Rebuild Illinois will make $45 billion of investments in roads, bridges, railroads, universities, early childhood centers, and State facilities over the next six years, creating and supporting an estimated 540,000 jobs over the life of the plan and revitalizing local economies across the State.

  • COVID-19 Updates

The recent health crisis has caused some changes to CDB operations and ongoing projects. The safety of our staff, vendors, and the public at large is our top priority. Design work is continuing and being performed in a way that does not jeopardize the health of the design professionals working on the projects. As new information becomes available, CDB will provide updates on our website.
