There are events going on in the State of Illinois that will increase your network and allow you to interact with other city, state, federal and assist agencies, as well prime vendors you can potentially partner with to grow your business.
Procurement Bulletin Boards – You should register with each bulletin to ensure you receive notifications on all bidding opportunities that match the goods and services that your company provides. Registration is free.

Small Business Set Aside Program – this program designates contracts under $100,000 that include 600+ product and service categories:
Small Business Development Centers (SBDC)/Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC) and International Trade Centers (ITC) – These centers provide assistance with the certification process and possess a wealth of information on all things concerning your business (development, expansion, business plans, available resource, etc.) These services are offered FREE OF CHARGE.

Full Certification Application Checklist – This list includes the documents you must to provide when completing your application if you are NOT certified with any entity at this time and wish to submit a Full Application.
Recognition Certification Application Checklist – This list includes the documents you must provide when submitting a Recognition Application based on your existing certification with entities currently recognized by the BEP.
Community College Procurement Contacts – This list contains contact information for procurement staff at Illinois community colleges that are looking to work with certified BEP vendors. Vendors should provide their Capability Statement to the colleges to be kept on file and be considered for contracting opportunities.
Illinois SBDC Network Map – This map contains a list of Small Business Development Centers (SBDC’s), Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC’s) and International Trade Centers (ITC’s) throughout the State of Illinois. Visit their website to locate the center closest to you. Services are free of charge.
