The Task Force shall meet no fewer than 3 times and shall present its report and recommendations on improvements to enforcement of driving under the influence of cannabis, in electronic format, to the Governor and the General Assembly no later than July 1, 2020.

|Function:||The DUI Cannabis Task Force is hereby created to study the issue of driving under the influence of cannabis and best practices in the area of driving under the influence of cannabis enforcement, including examining emerging technology in roadside testing.|
|Composition:||The Task Force shall consist of the following members: (1) The Director of State Police, or his or her designee, who shall serve as chair; (2) The Secretary of State, or his or her designee; (3) The President of the Illinois State's Attorneys Association, or his or her designee; (4) The President of the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, or his or her designee; (5) One member appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives; (6) One member appointed by the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives; (7) One member appointed by the President of the Senate; (8) One member appointed by the Minority Leader of the Senate; (9) One member of an organization dedicated to end drunk driving and drugged driving; (10) The president of a statewide bar association, appointed by the Governor; and (11) One member of a statewide organization representing civil and constitutional rights, appointed by the Governor. |
