Function: | The Board governs the port District located in White County and the city limits of Grayville; promotes industrial, commercial, and transportation activities; constructs, operates or leases, and maintains port and terminal facilities; establishes and maintains public airports and airport facilities. |
Term: | 3 years (beginning July 1 of staggered years), and until successor is appointed and qualified |

Qualifications: | Residents of White County or the the City of Grayville and no more than 2 from the same political party. No financial or property interest in District business.
All members of the Board shall be persons of recognized business ability. |
Compensation: | Expenses; secretary or treasurer may receive compensation fixed by the Board for services as such officer. |
