    The Serve Illinois Commission and the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs is proud to host Serving Those Who Serve. This is a call for project submissions and volunteers. Please help “Revive the Spirit of Service,” this Veterans Week by donating your time and resources to your local community.

  • Volunteer of the Week- Grace Schell

    To spread kindness, compassion, generosity, love, faith, smiles, giving freely of one’s time and talents, and being the best version of yourself… These were the things Grace Schell instilled in herself and those around her.Grace's focus was always to make someone feel better and to help others in need no matter the circumstances. It is for these reasons that Serve Illinois would like to honor Grace's memory as our volunteer of the week.
