As an alternative, it is recommended your company register on the Illinois Procurement Gateway (IPG). In registering with the IPG, your company will automatically be registered in Bidbuy. Below is the link for the IPG.

Please select all the applicable NIGP codes when you register. The typical NIGP codes would be contained in 912 Construction Services, General. The bidders are notified of current bidding projects, based on the contractor’s registered NIGP code. Some examples of the applicable codes include:
• 912-23 Construction General
• 912-40 Demolition
• 912-44 Excavation
Smaller projects may be bid as a Small Business Set-Aside. A small business is defined as one that is independently owned and operated, is not dominant in its field or operation, and CONSTRUCTION business cannot exceed $14 Million in annual sales and receipts. If your company meets this criteria, we encourage you to register as a small business.
