Wildlife Volunteers

Office of Resource Conservation

The Division of Wildlife Resources has occasional needs for volunteer field workers to help with the following:

  • Controlled prairie burns
  • Furbearer census routes in March
  • Habitat establishment and maintenance
  • Canada Goose banding in June
  • The Springfield office needs volunteers, at various times, to do filing, copying and map hanging.

Qualifications include good health, an interest in working outdoors and the ability to work odd hours. If you would like to know more about volunteer opportunities with wildlife resources, contact:
