Webinar and Seminars on Using Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) for Long Term Services and Supports

As specified in PA 98-0651, passed this spring, all applications for LTC Medicaid eligibility submitted by facilities will be required to use the State’s  Application for Benefits Eligibility (also known as ABE, https://abe.illinois.gov/abe/access/) beginning November 1, 2014.

In order to insure that facilities have the opportunity to learn how to use ABE for LTC applications, the State has initiated the following steps:

• Pre-Registration for In Person Seminars on use of Illinois Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) to apply for Medicaid and Long Term Care Supports.

• Completing an ABE Application for LTC Facilities presentation from August 27, 2014 Webinar (pdf).
