Virtual Reality Soils Curriculum
Interested in the world of virtual reality in K-12 education? The DoIT STEAM Education team collaborated with Chris Embry-Mohr, science teacher from Olympia High School, UIUC Healthcare Engineering Systems Center, and AirV Labs to create a mixed-reality module on Soil Horizons using 360-degree camera imaging. Travel through each location at the Illinois State University site that takes you deeper into the soils pit and learn about the nature of each strata along the way with the embedded slides. At the end, test your knowledge with an interactive quiz!
